The Library wasnt that busy. As the tall dark haired girl walked into the room she sighed and walked over to the Transfiguration section. Her bag was slung over her right shoulder but it slipped. Letting out an angry mutter she picked it back up and started browsing. A first year walked into her by accident. "Look where you're going!" Raven snapped and pulled out a book on transforming objects into more magical items. The first year ran off to find his friends. Sometimes I wish Father never sent me to the dratted school. she thought. Raven found a seat and sat down. She brushed her hair out of her ice blue eyes and opened up her bag. She pulled out some parchment and her Eagle feather quill and some black ink. She never liked studying but with no sign of either Pansy, Crabbe, Goyle, Draco or Blaise she had no choice.
Raven was on the very brink of screaming. She hated this subject but not as much as Defence Against The Dark Arts. She slammed her head on the desk. "Why is it that everytime I figure somethign out it has to go wrong?" she groaned into the desk. A few students looked at her. She ignored them. How was she going to finish her homework if she didnt have the right knowledge. She was contemplating on going back to her earlier studies but thought better of it. If she was caught doing illegal magic she would be expelled and sent to Azkaban. She heard some more people come in but never thought who they were and went back to work.

Carter sighed as she listened to her friend, Zach, drone on and on about some Slytherin girl scaring the crap out of his little brother just five or so minutes ago. Honestly, she could care less. Slytherins were always scaring first years; so why was he getting her to go find the girl and talk to her? It was his little brother, not hers. Finally after hearing the sentence 'Slytherins are so damn obnoxious' for the sixth or seventh time in an endless loop, Carter let out a groan and stopped walking at the doorway to the library. "Zach! Shut up! Please... dude, how many times can a person say that in one conversation??" Before he could answer, though she smacked him on the back of the head and walked into the library; with Zach following close behind muttering about scary Slytherins and grouchy Gryffindors.
Carter rolled her eyes and looked around the library for any students that looked like they were in Slytherin; they who were gathered in the room of books galore were mostly just Hufflepuffs, Ravenclaws and Gryffindors, but Zach's little brother rushed up to them and attacked Carter with a huge hug that caused her to grunt slightly with its force. First years; damn scaredy cats. The eager first year pointed to a dark haired girl sitting by herself at a table, and for some strange reason had a sense of familiarity crawling underneath her skin. Shivering lightly for a moment she grimaced and took in a deep breath before unclasping the child's hold on her waist and making her way over to the girl.
Coming up to the table she suddenly felt a bit embarrassed; really, she didn't know what to say. She had nothing against Slytherins, and she really didn't understand what Zach was so set on making her do this for. "Um, hi. I'm supposed to be jumping at your throat about scaring my friend's little brother... but seriously, I see no point in it." Shrugging, a smile fell onto the corners of her lips as she continued. "I think its funny, really." Carter seriously didn't feel like having a Slytherin vs Gryffindor argument right then and there; actually she never liked fighting all that much at all, so she decided to play the nice card. "My name's Carter, by the way. Carter Maddox."
((OOC: I would've put a template in, but it was 7 am and I was too lazy lol))

Raven saw the little boy again. This frustrated her. "Cant you just leave me be?" she asked the kid. She sighed and looked up and the newcomer. "Im Raven Riddle." she said. She stood up. "And you can tell your friend that this Slytherin dosent take too kindly to Gryffindor first years." she growled. She looked again at the girl. "I suppose you are a Gryffindor too?" she grumbled. She sighed and stook the book she had back on the right shelf. The Librarian smiled at her. Raven smiled back but as she put the book back her left sleeve slipped up her arm revealing her Dark Mark. Once she realised she quickly his it again. She wanted no one to know she was the Dark Lord's infamous child. She sighed as she sat back down. "You dont have any homework I suppose?" she asked the Gryffindor. "I hope you can keep secrets Carter." she whispered. She pointed to the seat oppiste her indicating for the other girl to sit down. "Theres something only certain people know about me. Draco, Crabbe and Goyle know but as long as you are not part of Dumbledores Army I think I can trust you this secret." she sighed. She looked at her ring on her her right thumb. It was a skull with diamond eyes. She looked back up to Carter. "Can I trust you because if I cant we will have to be sworn enemies." she warned. The boy looked at Raven. "I think you should leave before I tell you friend this." she said.

Stephen holding a large book walked into the library and over to a far shelf he spied two girls talking off in a corner but he was focused on returning the book he had borrowed several days ago. With the book tucked under his arm he walked slowly across the wooden floor his shoes squeeking as he did. He sighed as he stopped then started again the squeek persiting as his shoes hit the polished wooden floor of the library. He hoped the librarian would not see him as it was a bok that should not have left the library. Reatching teh shelf he slipped it back on it making sure everything was back in place before turning around to head back out. His eyes fell once more on the two girls and he decided to walk over. "hello girls , how are you both?" he asked expecting to be told to go away and pump some iron , but he didn't do that sort of thing to him it was unessecary.
