ROLEPLAY SAMPLE!::

Hermione sat on her bed silently, school hadn’t started yet and things were quite dull, the orientation for school was this Friday. She didn’t mind coming back to the school, all of her friends were already here along a few other students, and England has been under attack apparently lately thanks to the Death Eaters. There was nothing really to do yet and she wasn’t really interested in going to see what Harry and Ron were doing at the moment, humming to herself for a while her mind drifted to Netherfield, Hertfordshire, Mr. Bingley, Jane Bennett, Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennett, remembering her favorite muggle story she smiled then sat up and reached for her book Pride and Prejudice.

It was the kind of book to read outside; especially if it was a good day outside, slipping on her sandals she clutched the book under her right arm and left her dorm. Making her way down the stairs, she passed the bored Gryffindors in the Common Room, looking around she saw that neither Harry nor Ron was in there, she began to wonder what they were doing and where they were but seeing her reading that book made its way into her mind and she forgot all about those two. She slipped through the portrait hole and slipped out of the castle without anyone noticing her.

She made her way across Hogwarts grounds and made her way to the Black Lake, she normally would sit in the courtyard but she liked to sit by that isolated rock that sat far enough away from the lake so she wouldn’t get wet. She jumped up and got comfortable; crossing her legs she smiled to herself and opened Pride and Prejudice and got ready to be lost in the world of Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy

Overall Personality:
Hermione's most prominent features include her prodigious intellect and cleverness. She is levelheaded, book-smart and is very good with logic, but at first, she has a tendency to panic in intense or scary situations and is not good at thinking on her feet. However, by Deathly Hallows, she has learned to be more instinctive, saving everyone's lives more than once with her quick thinking. She is often bossy yet very loyal and conscientious.

Hermione has a brilliant mind. She has memorized many, many spells and can reason her way through difficult situations that stump everyone else. By her fifth year, she could cast a Protean Charm -- N.E.W.T standard magic. Portable, waterproof fires are a specialty of hers. She even spent one school year taking double classes using a Time-Turner to be in two places at once, but she found this too exhausting to keep up. Hermione excelled at most subjects.

Despite Hermione's intelligence and bossy attitude, Hermione has quite a lot of vulnerability in her personality, as well as a "sense of insecurity underneath," feels "utterly inadequate...and to compensate, she tries to be the best at everything at school, projecting a false confidence that can irritate people. Her biggest fear is failure.

Hermione has an extremely compassionate side to her personality and is quick to help others, especially those who are defenceless. Hermione is also very protective of her friends and values them so much.

General History:
Hermione Granger learned at the age of eleven that she was a witch and had been accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She began attending the school on September 1st 1991, when she was eleven, almost twelve, and was sorted into Gryffindor House.

The Grangers, while accepting the Wizarding world and their daughter's place in it, do not approve of using magic for quick fixes. They insisted, for example, that Hermione's somewhat oversized front teeth be dealt with in the usual way: with braces. They send healthy snacks by owl to Hermione at Hogwarts and come with her to Diagon Alley in August to help her buy her things for school. What they tell their family and friends about their daughter and her school is anyone's guess, but they are certainly proud of her.

An academically brilliant student, Hermione became best friends with fellow students Harry Potter and Ron Weasley in her first year of school. When they first met on the Hogwarts Express, Ron and Harry thought of her as obnoxious and self-centered, a belief that she only furthered as the school year went on, besting them in every class. However, when Ron and Harry saved her from a troll, she took the blame for them and became their friend. In her second year, Hermione was one of the victims of the Basilisk that was unleashed upon Hogwarts with the opening of the Chamber of Secrets, but recovered from being petrified. The next year, Hermione was given permission to use a Time-Turner to facilitate her attending more classes than other students, and which she and Harry later used to save Sirius Black from receiving the Dementor's Kiss, and Buckbeak the Hippogriff from certain death. Hermione became an advocate for the better treatment of house-elves, forming the association S.P.E.W., in her fourth year. In 1995, she was the driving force behind the creation of Dumbledore's Army, and fought in the Battle of the Department of Mysteries in 1996.
